i found the staff very friendly and they helped me by lending an umbrella. the reading nook was a pleasant space and i could sit in it while having breakfast. i ate at excellent restaurants within a 15-minute walk of the hotel it was convenient.
the room itself felt small and it was hard to move around. i booked a room with a friend and regretted getting a double bed when i saw the space available.

small room, overrated hipster vibe

umbrella loansmall roomhipster appeal
the staff were friendly and even helped me with a loan of an umbrella.
The room felt terribly small, even by Japanese standards. I'm used to small hotel rooms but this was cramped. the hipster appeal is wasted on me, honestly. I think the hotel is too expensive for what it offers.

super convenient stay

subway proximitylaundry facilitiesquick tripssmall tea bag
the hotel was very close to the subway, made transfers to other locations simple. laundry facilities were available onsite, a great convenience. i also found the proximity to the subway very helpful, especially for quick trips.
the tea bag provided was quite small, barely enough for a third of a cup. free coffee or tea bags in the room would improve the experience. additionally , the single pillow was quite thin and provided little support.
